RECIPE
Ingredients
2 lbs ground turkey
spices for the meatballs: 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1 Tbsp coriander powder, 1 tsp garam masala, 1 tsp ground pepper, 1 Tbsp paprika, 1 tsp chili flakes, 1 Tbsp ginger-garlic paste, 3 Tbsp diced red onion, a handful of chopped cilantro, 1 tsp pink Himalayan salt
for the glaze: 3 Tbsp olive oil, 2 Tbsp ginger-garlic paste, 3 Tbsp gluten-free soy sauce, 3 Tbsp tomato paste, 2 Tbsp honey, 1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar, 1 tsp hot sauce
Instructions
Prepare the ground meat and measure out all the spices for the meatballs.
Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, combine all the glaze ingredients and set aside.
In a large bowl, mix the ground meat with the spices until well combined, forming a uniform paste.
Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 50g each, and arrange them on the prepared baking tray.
Bake the meatballs at 400°F for 30 minutes, turning them halfway through to ensure even cooking.
While the meatballs are baking, pour the glaze into a pan.
Once the meatballs are nearly done, gently heat the glaze it until it starts to bubble, transfer them into the pan with the glaze and toss well until all the meatballs are evenly coated and glossy.
